BSI Singapore Appoints Acting CEO

(Repeat of article originally run late yesterday.) The appointment is subject to regulatory approval. Cohn takes the helm from Raj Sriram, the current acting CEO. He has decided to leave the bank and spend more time with his family, BSI said in a statement yesterday. Sriram has been with BSI since 2009. “Renato’s appointment underscores the strategic importance of both Singapore and the Asian markets for BSI and he will further improve the strong expertise of our local team,” said Stefano Coduri, group CEO of BSI. Cohn has been a member of the group executive board of BSI and head of ultra-high net worth development since September 2015. He has almost 20 years of experience in the banking industry and has held several senior positions. Before joining the bank, Cohn was co-head of BTG Pactual Wealth Management from 2009 to 2015. Before that, he served in senior positions at BTG Pactual as head of product and services and head of sales management at UBS Pactual. Cohn joined BTG Pactual and became a partner in 2004. Previously, he worked at Banco Matrix as a head of the fixed income trading desk.
